Review by hotel critic
Where Luxury Meets ValueI recently had the pleasure of staying at Kings Retreat while exploring the vibrant city of Jodhpur, and I must say, the experience was quite commendable for its blend of luxury and value. Nestled conveniently near the historic Meharangarh Fort and the bustling clock tower, the location is ideal for both sightseeing and leisurely strolls. The room I occupied was impressively spacious and well-decorated, ensuring a comfortable environment. The amenities provided, including air conditioning and complimentary tea and coffee facilities, added to the convenience. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful housekeeping services, which kept everything neat and tidy for my stay. The dining experience was another highlight, with the rooftop restaurant offering lovely views and a menu that catered to all tastes. The restaurant staff were attentive, making sure that guests' preferences were met, whether it was for Indian delicacies or even wood-fired pizza. Daanish, the owner, stood out for his willingness to assist with transportation arrangements, ensuring a hassle-free experience navigating the city. With a 24-hour reception and services such as laundry and luggage storage, Kings Retreat is a practical choice. In terms of value for money, I found my experience to be well balanced. If you value service quality and a solid location, this hotel is worth considering.
